The table was initially conceived on private commission to furnish the penthouse of Piazza Carbonari 2, Milan, a remarkable architecture of Luigi Caccia Dominioni.

The design explores the mechanical and aesthetic properties of aluminum, in an exercise of lightness and disguise.
Monomateriality simplifies the recycling process, although the table is designed to last for long.

All components are mechanically anchored and each part can be replaced in case of damage.
The 4mm top is folded to ensure excellent structural strength, and is also packaged to take up very little space when not in use.
