SCATTER.D is Bahar Pourmoghadam and Marco Cattivelli.

The studio, founded in 2020, deals with product design and architecture: we work in between industrial fabrication and craftmanship, with great interest in present and past manufacturing processes.

Fabrication is our way of understanding the interactions between people and things: the sense of a manual approach is narrative as the result contains further levels of meaning, personal and contingent.

We are very attracted by contaminations between different fields, by stolen or forgotten techniques.

Every product is designed and manufactured in Italy, in our workshop.
Our items are fully repairable and built to last. However, spare parts are available.

We care about a quality, affordable design, locally crafted.
Often custom made.  

We're currently based in Piacenza, in front of a splendid garden.
